Veronica Heaven wins the 2019 Women In Print Outstanding Achievement Award Sponsored by First Copy & Xerox

The inaugural Women In Print Outstanding Achievement Award was created to show recognition and appreciation for the amazing work women in the print industry do and was presented at Cafe de Paris on the 12th November 2019 at The Solutions Awards.

The Women In Print group appointed 4 judges who shortlisted 4 finalists and the public then voted for who they wanted to win.

After an introductory speech made by Rosie Whitelock, the founder of Women In Print, who explained why this award is so important and how valued the women in the print industry are, the winner was announced.

Veronica Heaven (owner of The Heaven Company) is the founder of The Brief Cases initiative, which works hard to bridge the gap between academic studies and commercial reality. The scheme provides real-life learning opportunities for degree level students and scope for universities to collaborate within the print industry.

Veronica is a wonderful role model in the print industry, she goes above and beyond to inspire others with the endless possibilities of graphic design, print, and packaging that paper-based projects can deliver. “Thrilled to win the Outstanding Achievement Award for inspirational women in print! A massive thank you to everyone who voted for me in the public vote!”

Rosie Whitelock commented: “All the finalists are amazing women in print and huge congratulations to Veronica. Thank you to my fellow judges Deborah Corn, Cheryl Hopes and Susan Wright and to our award sponsors at First Copy & Xerox as well as to Earth Island for letting us be part of their fab awards ceremony. It’s been an incredible year for Women in Print, roll on 2020’s award!
