Outstanding Achievement Award 2019 – Judging Panel

We are incredibly lucky to have the following judges confirmed to shortlist our three Outstanding Achievement Award Finalists.

Susan Wright 

Susan has worked as a journalist, writer, and editor for thirty years. In that time she had worked across a variety of printed media including newspapers, magazines, and corporate reviews. She has had her worked published internationally.

For the last 18 years, she has worked on magazines within the print, paper, and publishing industries.

At the beginning of 2013, she set up Earth Island Publishing to enable the publication of very ‘different’ magazines for the print industry.

Earth Island has become a respected publisher within this sector, now running its flagship title Print Solutions, which Susan edits, as well as Green Solutions, IndPrint, and Packaging Solutions.

The company also publishes a range of books and dwnTWn, a local online magazine.

 

Rosie Whitelock

Rosie is Managing Director of Bonacia (multi-award-winning digital printers) and the founder of the Women In Print UK Group. Rosie has been around print since she was 5 years old, having taken over the helm at Bonacia, alongside her sister Morgan, when she was 24.

Since then Bonacia has gone from strength to strength, employing over 95 staff who immerse themselves in Bonacia’s unique culture.

With a passion for the customer and ‘her people’ Rosie has been present at round table events to raise the awareness and importance of culture and diversity within the workplace, in 2018 Rosie and Morgan jointly won the Women Leaders Award.

 

 

 

Deborah Corn

Deborah Corn is the Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse, providing printspiration and resources to print and marketing professionals through her website, PrintMediaCentr.com.

She has 25+ years of experience working in advertising as a Print Producer and now works behind the scenes with printers, suppliers and industry organizations helping them create meaningful relationships with customers, and achieve success with their social media and content marketing endeavors.

Deborah is the Intergalactic Ambassador to The Printerverse at Print Media Centr, a Print Buyerologist, international speaker and blogger, host of Podcasts from The Printerverse, cultivator of Print Production Professionals the #1 print group on LinkedIn, Girl #1 at Girls Who Print, host of #PrintChat every Wednesday at 4PM ET on Twitter, the founder of International Print Day and the founder of #ProjectPeacock. She is the recipient of several industry honors including the 2016 Girls Who Print Girlie Award, the 2017 Clemson University Top Cat Award and sits on the boards of the Advertising Production Club of NYC and The Magazine Innovation Center at the University of Mississippi.

 

 

Cheryl Hopes

UK Channel Field Marketing Manager/Xerox UK Ltd

Cheryl is an experienced Business Professional with 18 years of working in the information technology and print services industry for Xerox UK Ltd.

Highly organised and focused, Cheryl has worked in a number of roles covering Sales, Business Development, Operations and Change and Programme Management.

Cheryl’s current role as the UK Channel Marketing Manager focuses on supporting Xerox’ Partner and Reseller community with their marketing strategies and enabler for delivering their business performances.

Cheryl is a mum to two small girls and lives in Buckinghamshire.
