My career in print to date – a short snapshot
My career in print. – I worked for Atlantis Paper, John Heyer Paper, Paper Resources, GFSMITH in sales the Paper trade and for Stephens and George, St Ives, and smaller printers as a print salesperson.
Why I am passionate about my job
My job is totally fascinating because every day, I meet people from every kind of industry, who are passionate about their own work and excited by the potential of print and paper to improve their brand image and awareness.
Why should women at the beginning of their careers consider the print industry?
Because essentially, it’s an industry that is relevant everywhere and it’s totally people focused and reliant on developing long term client relationships. Additionally, new technology is making what’s possible in print ever more interesting and accessible.
The one thing I would do to improve gender diversity in our sector is?
Concentrate on the end product rather than the plant list and excite students in colleges and schools with the potential.
