Print & Prosecco – When can we do it again?

September 10, 2019 10:55 am

The second Women In Print networking event – ‘Print & Prosecco’ took place on a lovely and sunny Thursday evening in London, and what a great time was had by all.

The amount of knowledge, experience, and passion in the room was infectious and we would hope all who attended came away with new connections and a fresh wave of enthusiasm for the Print Industry.

The evening started with an introductory welcome by Women In Print founder Rosie Whitelock and was followed by introductions from all attendees – there is nothing like being put on the spot and introducing yourself hey ladies!

Deborah Corn, who traveled all the way from the USA, delivered an excellent talk on ‘Finding Your Voice’ her talk was not only motivational but practical, the Women In Print group are very grateful she took the time to travel to us and deliver her wonderful presentation. Deborah encouraged us all to get involved with the Women In Print Mentoring Network to offer our services at mentors but to also consider registering as a mentee (every day is a day to learn something new) some of us here at Women In Print HQ have registered and we will keep you posted on our progress.

As the evening ended Rosie announced the shortlisted finalists for our Outstanding Achievement Award, the four incredible women shortlisted for the award are Dempsie Giles, Veronica Heaven, Alyson Hurst, and Debbie Waldron-Hoines, more information about why these women were shortlisted will be published soon.

We are already thinking ahead to our next event, no details as of yet but if you would like to be kept up to date with all Women In Print Info including details on events we are holding and/or attending register for our newsletter today (pop your email address into the pop up as you leave the site).
